Dale Evens, Roy Rogers, and Gene Autry were found in the county. The 4th puppy had been hit by a car and didn't survive. Chloe's Fund is sending them to the vet.

Ripley was found with a badly damaged eye from a possible attack. He is on antibiotics for now, but will need surgery in a few days.

Rose and Ray were relinquished to the animal shelter when their mom wasn't able to produce enough milk to feed all her puppies. Sadly some of their siblings had already passed away, but we were able to save these cuties.

Hunter was suffering from megaesophagus, tumors, nausea, and severe emaciation. He received surgery and gained a few needed lbs. He is now in a loving new FURever home.

Duckie needed her leg amputated, but that didn't stop her from strutting her stuff. Here she is winning first place at Southwire Florence’s first National Dog Day Pageant.

*UPDATE*
After nine month of treatments, medications, love and attention in a foster home, this is Russell! He leaves tonight on a rescue transport to find his FURever home through Brown Dog Coalition. Russell is a true CF success story!!

Russell was terribly malnourished, anemic, had demodex mange, his feet were badly infected, and his dew claws were growing into his paw pads.

These pups were found covered in fleas, emaciated, and dehydrated. One pup was already deceased, but we were able to help Mario and Princess Peach by getting them to the ER.

Jasmine (now Pip), turned out, to have rickets. With proper nutrition, vitamins, and care, she was made vast improvements. She's having fun running and playing like a normal puppy.

Poor little Jasmine was very neglected. She might have rickets, but it could be a deformity that may require surgery or braces.

L.A. Knight is a 3mo old Cane Corso brought into the ER vet with parvovirus. His family couldn't pay for treatment and was going to have him euthanized. Chloe's Fund is helping him get the medical attention he needs.
We are hoping for the best.

Roxy needed an emergency c-section. She had 11 puppies total! Unfortunately, they had herpes virus and 5 didn't survive. Mom and remaining babies continue to receive care.

Lucy got her foot caught in a trap. Her family chose to euthanize her when they heard she needed her leg amputated. Chloe's Fund was able to save her!

Sweet Pea was kicked by a horse and left with a mangled leg. She had more than one break, but Dr. Bingham believes this baby will heal.

Loo had a badly broken leg that had to be amputated and a fractured pelvis. His recovery is going amazingly well and will leave for rescue very soon.

Tyler needed specialized surgery on his leg. It was a costly bill, but worth every penny!
Max and Jedi the day they were rescued and then after getting treatment for a terrible case of starvation. They were tied up on short ropes outside with no shelter.

Diego tested positive for parvo. There is no cure for parvovirus, but chances of survival are greatly improved with immediate aggressive veterinary intervention. The only way to prevent parvo, is with vaccinations.

Treat was in quite a state with an upper respiratory and bad eye infection. He needed urgent care.

Sybil was so skinny and emaciated. When she fully recovers, she will go to Brown Dog Coalition to find a fur-ever home.

We helped this stray mom cat and her two kittens. They are all feeling much better and headed to their new home.

Poor Linzy had a degloved jaw. This is a severe injury where the skin and tissue are torn away from the jawbone. It requires immediate veterinary care which can include surgery, antibiotics, and pain management.

Poor Coco had a terrible time trying to deliver her puppies. She needed an emergency C-Section. They were able to save her and one of her babies.

Mary spent the weekend at the ER Vet in terrible condition. Her blood sugar and body temp kept bottoming out. We can't save them all, but that won't stop us from trying.

Back in 2022, Tilly was found wondering alone, skinny, clearly had many litters in her life, and heartworm positive. Chloe's Fund was able to help her and she was adopted into a wonderful home.

Grits is a parvo survivor.
Canine parvovirus is a highly contagious disease that attacks white blood cells and the gastrointestinal tract. Any unvaccinated dog can get parvo, but puppies between 6-20 wks old are the most at risk.

Harlow is very tiny and likely pushed away from mama by bigger siblings. The shelter staff warmed and bottle fed him, but he remained weak with low body temperature. He is now in emergency medical care.

Grace was brought to the ER vet after being found at McFarland Park. Then three more were discovered! They all need transfusions. All very anemic. Not parvo, but VERY SICK.

This is Clover after being hit by a car. Another puppy that was also hit by the same car was sadly killed.

Canine parvovirus is a highly contagious viral disease that causes acute gastrointestinal illness mainly in puppies.

Red was attacked by several dogs. He needed plasma at the ER vet last night and will stay the weekend. This will be a big bill, but this is our mission!

Willie spent several nights at the vet. He was very sick and covered in demodectic mange. After many medicated baths and strong meds, he recovered and was adopted by a wonderful family!

Jewel is a young dog that has been terribly neglected. Her fur is so overgrown that she has corneal ulcers from mats rubbing her eyes. When they shaved her, they found maggot infested wounds all over her little body. They will do everything they can for her, but she is in life threatening shape.

Mik had a kitty accident and broke his elbow. He is not happy about the cast, but should heal and be back to climbing in no time.

Rain was having seizures so we sent her to see a neurologist in Huntsville. She had a CT scan, spinal tap, and blood work. After many tests and medications a hard decision was made. We tried our very best to give this little girl a chance.

This tiny little senior dachshund is Miss Johnson. She was seized with others in an animal cruelty case. Her jaw had been broken, but never treated so the bone deteriorated away.

Elvis was found on Natchez Trace with a deformed leg. He was treated and is now adopted!

Precious was found by some very kind ladies near railroad tracks. They didn't think she'd make it Thursday night, but she's a fighter! She went to ER vet last night for fluids and monitoring, very anemic, and may need a blood transfusion.

Hardy needs FHO surgery to fix an old pelvic fracture and a broken hip. This will be a costly procedure, but he will never walk correctly without it :(

Buddy was found to have a cancerous tumor in his mouth. He is now in hospice foster care.

Chellie had two broken jaw bones, she was covered in scabs, and had a exposed bone in the roof of her mouth. She made a full recovery after surgery and was adopted to a family that adores her.

Lagertha was rushed into emergency surgery. She was hemorrhaging from a Stump Pyometra. This is an infection from her spay and is life threatening.
